Aotai Marathon

The AOTAI Marathon, officially the Aoshima Pacific Marathon, is one of Kyushu’s most popular winter road races, held in sunny Miyazaki City, Japan. Known locally as “AOTAI,” the event combines a full marathon, 10K, and 3K race with a bright coastal atmosphere, palm-lined roads, and the tropical scenery of southern Kyushu. The course starts and finishes around Hinata Miyazaki Prefectural Sports Park and takes runners through Miyazaki city roads toward the Aoshima area, making it a scenic and highly recognizable race on Japan’s marathon calendar.
