Doha Marathon

The Doha Marathon, commercially known as the Doha Marathon by Ooredoo, is Qatar’s premier annual road race, held each January in Doha, Qatar. First launched in 2013, the event has grown into one of the Middle East’s most popular marathons with World Athletics Gold Label status, drawing elite athletes and thousands of runners from around the world. The marathon weekend offers multiple race distances, including a full marathon (42 km), half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and family-friendly events such as a Kids’ Fun Run, all set against the scenic backdrop of Doha’s iconic Corniche and waterfront. The route starts and finishes near Hotel Park, giving participants stunning views of the city skyline and Arabian Gulf as they race along flat, fast roads.
