Duke City Marathon

The Duke City Marathon is a long-running annual road running event held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States, typically each October. The marathon covers the standard 42.195 km (26.2 mi) distance and is known for its scenic, fast course that begins and ends at Mayor Kinney Civic Plaza in downtown Albuquerque, with much of the route following trails along the Rio Grande. Established in 1984, the Duke City Marathon has grown into one of the premier running events in the Southwest and serves as a Boston Marathon qualifying race.
