Jungfrau Marathon

Jungfrau Marathon is a world-famous alpine marathon in Interlaken, Switzerland, known for combining one of Europe’s most dramatic mountain settings with one of the most distinctive marathon routes anywhere in the sport. Organized by the Jungfrau Marathon Association, the race starts in the center of Interlaken and climbs deep into the Bernese Oberland toward Eigergletscher, passing through constantly changing scenery that includes lakeside stretches, mountain villages, and high-alpine terrain beneath the iconic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
