Luxembourg Night Marathon

The ING Night Marathon Luxembourg is a distinctive evening road racing event held each spring in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. Known as one of Europe’s few true night marathons, the race starts in the early evening and illuminates the city’s streets, taking runners past both historic and modern districts under lights. In addition to the full marathon (42.195 km), the event typically offers a half marathon and a variety of other distances and formats — including team relays, 5 km runs, and children’s races — so runners of many levels can participate. Launched in 2006, the event is supported by local sport and cultural associations along with the Fédération Luxembourgeoise d’Athlétisme and attracts thousands of participants and spectators for a festive night of running through the capital.
