Mankato Marathon

The Mankato Marathon is a long-running fall road-racing festival held in Mankato, Minnesota, United States, in the heart of the Minnesota River Valley. First staged in 2010, the event has developed into one of southern Minnesota’s signature running weekends, offering a full marathon alongside a half marathon, marathon relay, 10K, 5K, KidsK and multi-race “Kato Challenges.”

The race is organized by Visit Mankato, the destination management and convention and visitors bureau for the Greater Mankato area. Visit Mankato is an affiliate of Greater Mankato Growth, Inc., an organization that also encompasses the regional chamber of commerce, economic development organization and City Center Partnership. Mayo Clinic Health System serves as the presenting sponsor of the Mankato Marathon.
