Marathon Medieval Blandy-Provins

The Marathon Médiéval Blandy-Provins is a heritage-themed running event in Seine-et-Marne, France, linking Blandy-les-Tours and Provins. Organized by the Département de Seine-et-Marne, the event is designed as both a sporting challenge and a celebration of medieval heritage, with routes passing historic villages, castles, fortified sites, and the UNESCO-listed medieval city of Provins.

The flagship marathon starts in Blandy-les-Tours and finishes at the foot of the ramparts of Provins, crossing ten communes and covering 42.195 km with approximately 210 m of total ascent. The weekend also includes a relay marathon, the “Semi-marathon des Tours,” 5 km races in Blandy and Provins, and children’s races, making it a broad community and destination race weekend rather than only a standard road marathon.
