Marathon The Hague

The NN CPC Loop Den Haag or Marathon The Hague is one of the Netherlands’ most historic and popular spring road races, held annually in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands. The event is organized by Stichting CPC Loop Den Haag and operated under the NN CPC Loop Den Haag event organization. The race weekend includes the NN Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, children’s races, walking events, and charity participation through KWF Dutch Cancer Society.

The flagship half marathon follows the classic “City-Pier-City” concept, taking runners from the city centre toward the coast at Scheveningen before returning to the Malieveld. The course is known as one of the fastest half marathon routes in the world, with many runners using it as a spring tune-up or personal-best attempt. The official site notes that Abdi Nageeye set the Dutch half marathon record here in 2023, and the course records include Samuel Wanjiru’s 58:33 from 2007 and Lornah Kiplagat’s 1:06:56 from 2000.
