MBN Seoul Marathon

The MBN Seoul Marathon is a major annual road-running event held in Seoul, South Korea, bringing together thousands of runners for an exciting race through one of Asia’s most dynamic capital cities. Taking place in November, the event combines the energy of a large-scale urban running competition with the opportunity to experience Seoul’s historic landmarks, modern architecture, and vibrant neighbourhoods.

Organized by MBN and Maeil Business Newspaper, the MBN Seoul Marathon welcomes runners of varying experience levels, from competitive athletes pursuing personal bests to recreational participants seeking an unforgettable running experience in the heart of South Korea.

The event features two principal race distances: a half marathon covering 21.0975 kilometres and a 10-kilometre race. With a combined participant capacity of approximately 30,000 runners, the MBN Seoul Marathon is designed to create an energetic race-day atmosphere supported by organized road closures, electronic timing, hydration stations, and dedicated event personnel.
