Nagai Marathon
The Nagai Marathon (ι·δΊγγ©γ½γ³) is one of Yamagata Prefecture's premier autumn road races, offering runners a fast, certified course through the picturesque countryside of Nagai City in northern Japan. First established in 1987, the event has developed a reputation for combining competitive racing with the warm hospitality of a close-knit rural community. The marathon and half marathon begin on the road adjacent to Koyo Seiki Athlete Field Nagai before following an out-and-back route through the flat agricultural landscape surrounding Nagai City.
