Napanee Heritage Race

The Napanee Heritage Race is a welcoming community road race held each June in the historic town of Greater Napanee, Ontario, Canada. Combining a fast and accurately measured 5K course with a family-friendly atmosphere, the event has quickly become one of Eastern Ontario’s most popular grassroots running celebrations. Participants can choose from a competitive 5K run, a recreational 5K walk, or the Kids 1-Miler, making the race accessible to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

The race starts and finishes at the Lennox and Addington County Museum and Archives, guiding participants through the quiet residential streets of Napanee. The mostly flat course provides an excellent opportunity for experienced runners to chase personal bests while remaining approachable for beginners tackling their first organized event. Spectators line portions of the course to cheer on participants before everyone gathers back at the museum grounds for awards, refreshments, draw prizes, and community festivities.
