Northern Horse Park Marathon

Northern Horse Park Marathon is a unique spring running event held each May at Northern Horse Park in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, where runners can enjoy the region’s natural beauty and rich horse‑culture heritage. The event features a variety of race options, including a half marathon, a 7 km trail run through parts of the park and nearby roads, and a fun 2.5 km “Pair Run”, making it suitable for a wide range of participants from serious runners to families and friends. Courses take runners through scenic park grounds, past horse training tracks, and along rural roads linking Tomakomai, Chitose, and Abira towns, offering a refreshing mix of terrain and atmosphere.
