Pride & Remembrance Run

The Pride & Remembrance Run is a landmark community running event held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, during Toronto’s Pride celebrations. Centred in the city’s Church-Wellesley Village, the event combines sport, remembrance, fundraising, and celebration in one of Canada’s most important 2SLGBTQ+ community spaces.

The run starts and finishes at Church & Wellesley Streets, with an after party in Barbara Hall Park beside The 519. The event has become one of Toronto Pride’s signature community traditions, described by the organizer as the only annual athletic event during Toronto’s Pride Week and a fundraising run/walk rooted in community spirit, volunteerism, goodwill, and sportsmanship in the Canadian 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Since launching in 1996, the Pride & Remembrance Run has brought together more than 50,000 participants and raised nearly $4 million for 2SLGBTQ+ organizations and community beneficiaries across Canada.
