Round the Airport Anniversary Run

The Round the Airport ~ Anniversary Run is a late-season road race held in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, organized by the Kingston Road Runners Association (KRRA). Centred around Kingston’s Norman Rogers Airport, the event features a distinctive 10K course that makes a complete circuit of the airport, together with a Kids 1-Miler for younger runners. The race has developed into one of the final major fixtures on the Kingston-area running calendar and combines competitive racing, a family-friendly atmosphere and fundraising for charity.

The event is based at The Landings Golf & Teaching Centre, adjacent to Kingston Airport. From the start at The Landings, the 10K heads east along Front Road before turning north on Bayridge Drive and west on Coverdale Road. Runners then enter Lemoine Point Conservation Area, where the character of the race changes from suburban roads to scenic recreational paths close to the Lake Ontario shoreline. After passing through Lemoine Point, competitors return toward Front Road and ultimately make their way back onto the airport property for the final stretch to the finish.
