Run Balmoral

Run Balmoral is a Highland running festival held on the Balmoral Estate near Ballater, Scotland, offering one of the most distinctive race settings in the United Kingdom. Organized by Balmoral Road Races Ltd, the event combines a scenic estate backdrop with a broad, family-friendly race programme spread over two days. Unlike a conventional urban road race, Run Balmoral uses the traffic-free roads and trails surrounding Balmoral Castle, giving runners access to estate grounds, Deeside scenery, and rugged Highland terrain that is rarely available for public racing. The weekend format adds to the event’s appeal, with children’s races, a 5K, and 10K on Saturday, followed by the 6 Mile Trail Race and 15 Mile Trail Race on Sunday.
