SunSky 10K

The SunSky 10K is a new destination road race in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States, offering runners and walkers the rare opportunity to cross the spectacular Bob Graham Sunshine Skyway Bridge on foot. The inaugural event will take place in March 2027 and is produced by FRESHJUNKIE Racing (FJR), the endurance-event production company behind the race.

The race’s defining feature is unquestionably its course. Participants cover 6.2 miles along the northbound lanes of Interstate 275, climbing onto one of Florida’s most recognizable landmarks as the Sunshine Skyway carries them across lower Tampa Bay. At its highest point, runners are more than 200 feet above the water, providing panoramic views across the bay and a race experience that is normally impossible: pedestrians ordinarily cannot simply run across the bridge.
