UC Marathon

UC Marathon, officially the University of Charleston Marathon presented by United Bank, is a new road-racing weekend in Charleston, West Virginia, USA, built around a flat, fast marathon course that showcases the state capital and the University of Charleston’s riverfront campus. Hosted by the University of Charleston, the event is designed to serve both competitive runners and the broader local community, with a certified Boston-qualifying marathon route passing through Downtown Charleston, Elk City, Kanawha City, and the university grounds. Rather than operating as a marathon-only event, the weekend also includes a Half Marathon and a 5K, giving it the feel of a full community race festival.
