Wolfe Island Classic

The Wolfe Island Classic is a scenic summer road-running event held in Marysville on Wolfe Island, Ontario, Canada, offering runners the choice of a 5K or 10K road race, along with a Kids 1-Miler and a free 200-metre Kiddie Fun Run for younger children. Located at the entrance to the Thousand Islands and just a short ferry ride from downtown Kingston, Wolfe Island provides one of the more distinctive race settings in Eastern Ontario, combining rural island roads, views across the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario, and the novelty of travelling to race morning by ferry.

Wolfe Island is the largest of the Thousand Islands and is known for its open countryside, cycling routes and views toward Kingston, neighbouring islands and the American shoreline. The Wolfe Island Classic takes advantage of that landscape with straightforward out-and-back 5K and 10K courses beginning and finishing in downtown Marysville. Water stations are positioned along the routes, while the compact start and finish area places runners directly within the island community.
