At BC Women’s Health Foundation, we believe that every woman deserves compassionate, specialized support for her mental health. Too many women in British Columbia face challenges that can feel overwhelming:
Postpartum Depression and Anxiety – Nearly one in four new mothers in BC experience postpartum depression or anxiety.
The Impact of COVID-19 – Almost half of women in BC saw their mental health decline during the pandemic.
Access to Care – More than 40% of women in BC didn’t get the mental health support they needed during this time.
These numbers tell a powerful story: We need to do better. And with your help, we can.
