The Green Park Reading Half Marathon is one of the longest-running and most popular road races in the UK. A true Reading favourite with seasoned athletes and first timers, the event is one of the biggest charity fundraisers, with over HALF A MILLION POUNDS raised in 2025.
Whether you’re a first-timer aiming to cross the finish line or a seasoned runner chasing a personal best, this course is designed for all. It’s a single-lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km), traffic-free route that offers a balance of scenic views and steady challenges.
Starting in the stunning surroundings of Green Park and finishing in the Reading Football Club Stadium, the course is undulating rather than completely flat.
