After experiencing the affects of a cancer diagnosis and the expenses that accompany it, I realized there are many families
struggling financially as a result of a cancer diagnosis in the home.
My hope is to give back to some of these families. ALL profits from
the run will go to families in need.
*NEW THIS YEAR*
I have partnered with Kindred Foundation, a charity doing great work and funding cancer research and programs across Canada. My event will assist children, adolescents and young adults in their battle against cancer. Although the foundation is based in Toronto, they are a national charity and are committed to ensuring that the funds we raise locally will first benefit families in our own community.
