Event Details
The Marathon de la Liberté is the flagship event of the Marathon de la Liberté series, covering the classic distance of 42.195 km. Scheduled for Sunday, June 13, 2027, it will start at 9:10 AM from Courseulles-sur-Mer and finish in downtown Caen. The race is open to 5,000 participants and traverses 17 historic towns, with a time limit of 5 hours and 30 minutes. The event holds a Bronze label from the French Athletics Federation (FFA) and is a qualifier for the French Championship. Participants can expect free shuttles, pacers, musical entertainment, live tracking, a finisher's t-shirt, a collector's medal, and a buffet featuring Norman flavors at the finish line.
