The Run for Women Moncton is in support of the “Little Courageous” which will be the second -trauma informed daycare in North America-the first of its kind in New Brunswick. This daycare will be located at the Centre Courage Centre operated by the Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre Inc.
Located at the Centre Courage Centre, the Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre is a registered charity offering support, counselling, and housing to victims of family violence and their children, to victims of sexual assault, as well as those suffering from emotional difficulties and mental health issues across Southeast New Brunswick. More than 2000 people a year receive services at the Beausejour’s new centre of excellence called the Courage Centre who receive 24/7 services in a trauma-informed and gender-responsive facility that is the first of its kind in New Brunswick.
