Half marathon, not a half-measure: Even half the way to the marathon distance leads to the atmospheric finish area on Linz's main square. Quite rightly, the half-marathon finishers also receive not half, but full recognition in this way. For many, the half marathon is an important step towards the classic distance, for some the 21.1 kilometers remains the personal limit.
