The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest-running and most popular city centre road races in the UK. A true Nottingham favourite, it’s also the city’s biggest charity fundraising event, with just under HALF A MILLION raised in 2024 alone.
Whether you’re a first-timer aiming to cross the finish line or a seasoned runner chasing a personal best, this course is designed for all. It’s a single-lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km), traffic-free route that offers a balance of scenic views and steady challenges.
Starting and finishing on Victoria Embankment, the course is undulating rather than completely flat. There are a few early inclines (around miles 2, 4, and 6), when your legs are still feeling fresh.
