The course has been thoughtfully refreshed, with a new common start and finish. The race begins at sunrise in the heart of downtown Tucson, sending runners through the Barrio Libre area, including the Five Points Intersection.
As the course unfolds, runners move from vibrant city streets into open desert terrain, revealing sweeping views of the Tucson Mountains. The Garmin Marathon Series in Tucson highlights iconic desert landscapes, striking mountain backdrops, the University of Arizona campus and charming historic neighborhoods — creating a fast, scenic route that reflects the true spirit of the city.
