2026 Half Marathon

n 2026, you'll have the thrill of running on the closed roads of the Parliamentary Triangle and along Lake Burley Griffin, passing Canberra’s most iconic landmarks, including Old and New Parliament House.

Starting outside Old Parliament House and running around the the Parliamentary Triangle the course takes you into Barton, onto Brisbane Ave before jumping on Adelaide Ave to complete an out-and-back section along Adelaide Avenue into the green surrounds of Yarralumla, followed by a lakeside run on Alexandrina Drive. Finish heading back onto State Circle, into Brisbane Ave and finish strong on King Edward Terrace – capping off an unforgettable half marathon experience.
