Imagine running through stunning landscapes and historic streets – come to Turku, Finland, the hometown of running legend Paavo Nurmi! The highlight of the Finnish running calendar is the Paavo Nurmi Marathon.
Welcome to run in Turku, the hometown of 9-time Olympic champion Paavo Nurmi. The classic of running events, the Paavo Nurmi Marathon, will be held for the 35th time as a two-day event on Friday and Saturday, August 14-15, 2026. The Paavo Nurmi Marathon offers four different travel options. Choose the option that suits you best and register.
