One of the priorities of the Municipality of San José, as well as the Cantonal Committee of Sports and Recreation of San José is to promote initiatives and create spaces for the promotion of health and the improvement of the quality of life, through sport, recreation, and physical activity.
The San José Marathon is a competition for men and women, which will unite several countries, calculating the participation of approximately 4500 athletes, several of them of the highest level.
