2027 Marathon

The Reykjavík Marathon is an annual event held in downtown Reykjavík, attracting participants from around the world. The marathon course is both enjoyable and challenging, starting on Sæmundargata by the University of Iceland and finishing on Geirsgata by Reykjavík Art Museum. The route includes scenic views of the ocean and surrounding mountains, as well as sections through residential areas and the Elliðaárdal valley. Participants have 6 hours and 30 minutes to complete the race. The entry fee includes a variety of services to ensure a unique experience for the runners.
